DIY Cerakote

DIY Cerakote in Nampa, Idaho

Stick it to the man, and do your project your way.

Professional Cerakote shops charge $150-400+ for a basic firearm coating. Our DIY booth lets you do it yourself for a fraction of the cost—with the same commercial equipment the pros use. Whether you’re coating one pistol or a dozen AR builds, Snake River Rifleworks gives you the tools and space to get it done right.

What You Get

This isn’t a rattle can setup in someone’s backyard. You’re working with professional-grade equipment:

Spray Booth Built American Equipment double-width spray booth with LED lighting and recirculation system. Proper ventilation, proper lighting, proper results.

Curing Ovens Two Built American Equipment Cerakote curing ovens with 550° high-temp capability for proper gas-outs. Stainless steel lined interiors, WiFi connectivity, and ramp-and-soak controllers for precise cure profiles. Interior dimensions of 26″x30″x48″ fit everything from handguns to full rifle builds.

Air System Eaton Compressors 10 HP rotary screw air compressor with integrated dryer, RapidAir 1″ loop system, and filtration at every drop. Clean, dry, consistent air is the difference between a finish that lasts and one that flakes.

Sandblast Cabinet Skat-Blast 1636 Commercial Dual Operating System—a full-size 36″ cabinet with both pressure and siphon blasting modes. Pressure mode strips heavy rust, scale, and coatings fast. Siphon mode handles detail work and lighter prep. Foot pedal operation keeps both hands on your work.

Do it all under one roof. Blast, clean, spray, cure, and walk out with a finished product.

Stencil Cutting

Want multi-color camo, custom patterns, or crisp logos? Our Graphtec CE8000 vinyl cutter handles high-temp stencil material designed for Cerakote applications. Bring your design file or describe what you want—we’ll cut precise stencils that peel clean and hold up through the cure cycle.

Custom camo patterns, American flags, company logos, splinter designs, tiger stripes—if you can draw it, we can cut it.

Stencil cutting available as add-on service. Ask for pricing.

Laser Engraving

Our 100-watt fiber laser marks metal with permanent, precise detail. Serial numbers, logos, NFA engravings, custom text, graphics—anything you need etched into steel, aluminum, titanium, or coated surfaces.

Deep engrave before coating for a two-tone effect, or mark over finished Cerakote for clean contrast. Fiber laser marks are permanent, won’t wear off, and meet ATF depth requirements for NFA engravings.

Laser engraving available as add-on service. Ask for pricing.
